TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD E12.2 October 2017 – Colleges form a faculty committee to recommend to the dean up to three faculty members
By January 19, 2018 – The dean/department chairs select one faculty nomination to forward to the Provost.  The dean submits faculty nomination electronically to stp1031@rit.edu. If the examples of scholarship cannot be submitted electronically, send/deliver to Sue Provenzano, Eastman 2125.
By February 6, 2018 – Deans and Provost select four nominees to forward to the BOT Education Core Committee
By February 20, 2018 - four nominees (ranked) and documentation is sent to BOT Education Core Committee
By March 20, 2018 - phone conference with ECC to select recipients

MID-TENURE COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW   CANDIDATES provide documentation as specified in the college tenure policy to college tenure committee by a date set by the college tenure committee
DEPARTMENT HEAD shall provide a written assessment of the candidate's appropriate progress towards tenure from the perspective of colleague, supervisor, and administrator based upon the candidate's documentation.
TENURE COMMITTEE shall seek letters from tenured department members 
TENURE COMMITTEE submits an analysis of the candidate's strengths and weaknesses and whether current performance would lead to a recommendation for tenure and documentation to the dean by a date set by the college tenure committee
The DEAN submits letter of recommendation with all letters of review and documentation to the provost by 4/1/2018
The PROVOST reviews all letters of review and documentation and sends comments on candidate's progress toward tenure to the dean by 5/15/2018
The DEAN discusses the provost's comments with the candidate 5/30/2018
DISMISSAL FOR CAUSE COMMITTEE E23.0  DEANS - submit tenure committees chairs' names to Academic Senate Chair and Provost by 1/15/2018.  Committee membership terms are one-year terms - 2/1-1/31  PROVOST/ACADEMIC SENATE CHAIR draw members from pool by 1/31/2018
EMERITUS STATUS E6.1.II ACTIVE OR RETIRED FACULTY MEMBER, SUPERVISOR, OR COLLEAGUE may submit a nomination to the nominee's department head.
DEPARTMENT HEAD shall forward documentation and a recommendation for or against granting the honorary title to the dean.
DEAN submits a recommendations with supporting documentation and recommendation from department chair to the provost.
PROVOST makes the final determination and notifies the nominee.
