AES Good News
You know we love to share your good news! We caught up with Kendall Scott, director of the Future Stewards Program and he has a lot going on! He was selected to take part in the Strengthening Innovation Ecosystems Program organized by Harvard University in partnership with Ring Workspaces and the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy. Scott was awarded a scholarship through the Harvard Kennedy School Social Innovation + Change Initiative to complete the Power and Influence for Positive Impact this spring. In addition, he was selected for the Native-to-Native Mentorship Program, a year-long mentorship initiative that supports American Indian and Alaska Native scholars in psychology and prevention science. He will be working with Dr. Joseph E. Trimble, a national leader in cross-cultural psychology and co-author of Counseling Across Cultures.
In addition to his work with RIT’s Future Stewards Program, we asked Scott what’s next?
“I am finishing my Master of Science in Implementation Science at Dartmouth and my Master of Public Health at Brown University. I will soon begin my next academic chapter at Northeastern University studying Applied Psychology with a concentration in Prevention Science, where I look forward to continuing this work under Dr. Trimble’s mentorship. “
Scott is also wrapping up his time as a Health Justice Fellowship fellow after participating in a national cohort focused on advancing health equity through policy, research, and community leadership. Congratulations!
