Students on the Move
Check out the work Diego Martinez is doing! The senior, who is active with the Future Stewards Program, is majoring in game design and development. He recently attended the Game Developers Conference after being selected through the ASGC lottery. Martinez attended industry talks, connected with professionals, and engaged with leaders in the gaming industry, a great opportunity as he prepares to graduate later this year.
They’re Graduating: What’s Next?
Congratulations to all of our students who will graduate in May. Your hard work and dedication is something to be proud of! Some are already breathing a sigh of relief with next step plans securely in place, many others had very promising interviews last month at the RIT Career Fair and will know soon.
More than a dozen HEOP students will graduate in May. Among them are Kenan Daser, a management information systems major, who will head to New York City as a technology risk consultant associate with RSM. Zakaria Koumbassa, who is also a management information systems major will work with the US military as an E3 (rank) in air traffic control equipment repair. Graduate school is next for Elle Parrotta. She has a double major in English and philosophy and will pursue an MLS (master’s in library science) degree. She has already been accepted to Pratt Institute and is awaiting decisions from other schools. Natalia Roa has been hired as an MEP office engineer with Holder Construction in Manassas, VA. She majored in civil engineering technology. Also graduating in May: Bryant Aguilar, robotics and manufacturing engineering, Argenis Aquino, computer engineering technology, Issaka Dabre, mechanical engineering technology,Miguel Delgado, exercise science, Ivan Lin, software engineering, Tracey Pacheco, biology, Dylan Wyatt, graphic design, Shakiera Hunt, diagnostic medical sonography and Brian Morgan, individualized program.
Forty-six McNair/CSTEP students will receive diplomas in May! Michelle Barr, nutritional sciences and Christabel Osei, computer science, have already committed to graduate school at RIT! Our warmest wishes to all of our McNair/CSTEP grads!
