The Frameless Symposium is an interdisciplinary gathering that combines technology-focused approaches with humanities-inspired theoretical inquiry, empirical research and artistic expression. The Symposium Committee invites contributions from users and creators of XR technology and experiences involved in industry, academia, and non-profit organizations.

Saunders College of Business cited in ‘Bloomberg Businessweek’ rankings
Saunders College of Business’ MBA program has been noted for being among the best full-time programs in the nation in Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2019 rankings. Saunders College ranked No. 93 overall, with an entrepreneurship rating of No. 67, in the annual MBA rankings of graduate business schools. The college also ranked No. 80 in learning, and No. 90 in networking.

RIT conducts clinical trial on metabolic syndrome
RIT is seeking individuals diagnosed with metabolic syndrome to participate in a national clinical trial. The study will evaluate a wellness program designed to reverse conditions leading to heart disease, Type 2 diabetes and stroke.

New study suggests ‘Pac-Man-like’ mergers could explain massive, spinning black holes
Scientists have reported detecting gravitational waves from 10 black hole mergers to date, but they are still trying to explain the origins of those mergers. The largest merger detected so far seems to have defied previous models because it has a higher spin and mass than the range thought possible. A group of researchers, including RIT Assistant Professor Richard O’Shaughnessy, has created simulations that could explain how the merger happened.
