University Gallery features curated exhibitions that showcases work of professional alumni and faculty, esteemed regional, national, and international artists and designers. We are a public forum to spark imagination and inspire dialog through exhibitions and events that cultivate relationships and build community.
Event Space
The gallery offers up to 2,500 square feet of open, uninterrupted floor space for customized and versatile layouts. University Gallery is the blank canvas that can bring a customer's vision alive. The open area is clear, allows for freedom of planning, and unburdened possibilities.
- University Gallery can accommodate up to 160 guests for a seated meal, 200 guests with lecture-style seating, and 250 guests for a standing reception.
- Versatile space accommodating dinners, luncheons, award ceremonies, open houses, board meetings, receptions, conferences, or academic lectures.
- Audio Visual equipment is available on-site for various media and presentation needs.
- The venue is available to the RIT community and the general public.

University Gallery is located in James E. Booth Hall, Room 2700.
Directions from the parking lots:
- Enter South between Booth and Gannett through the breezeway
- Enter Booth entrance on the right
- Pass Bevier Gallery, walk up two steps and straight across the hall
- University Gallery entrance is on the right at the end of the hallway
Parking
Free parking is available for visitors to University Gallery. A free parking permit is required. From the main Jefferson Road entrance, follow the signs to the ‘Welcome Center’. The attendant will issue the parking pass and direct you to Lots F and J.
