My name is Sagar Lekhak, and I recently completed my masters in Imaging Science at Rochester Institute of Technology in the College of Science. I did my undergrad in electronics and communication engineering from Nepal. My academic background is centered around imaging science, remote sensing, computer vision, and artificial intelligence, with a strong focus on humanitarian applications of technology.
Originally, I am from Nepal, and my long-term goal is to contribute to the development of advanced sensing and AI technologies that can support humanitarian demining, environmental monitoring, and safer autonomous systems. I am particularly interested in bridging research and practical deployment by creating solutions that are scientifically rigorous while also having meaningful real-world impact.
With a strong foundation in imaging optics, artificial intelligence, and remote sensing, I am interested in contributing across industries and research areas where these fields intersect.
