We are hearing good things about Daniel Shiferaw, a second-year management information systems major. He is beginning his first co-op position this month as a data analyst with Emerson in Marshalltown, Iowa.
WOCHA/MOCHA: Giving Back to the Community
Kudos to: WOCHA members Serenity Brown and Ciamar Reyes and MOCHA members Tobi Fadipe, Nicholas Price and Jimmy Williams. The five RIT students, along with Gena Willis, assistant director for Affinity Programs and Leadership Development, spent several hours out in the November cold making sure others would have a Thanksgiving meal. They volunteered with the Rochester First Mission Thanksgiving Basket Drive, and they were busy! They carried heavy boxes of turkeys, chickens, canned goods and produce and loaded them into vehicles. Afterwards, they helped with the cleanup, breaking down boxes. Willis said, “I am truly proud of their dedication and willingness to serve others.”
