Ahmad, Rafique, and students have paper accepted to SenSys 2026

Computer science Ph.D. students Ali Khalid, Jaiaid Mobin, and Avinash Maurya, along with Muhammad Mustafa Rafique, associate professor, and Fawad Ahmad, assistant professor, in the Department of Computer Science, recently had their paper "Been There, Scanned That: Nostalgia-Driven LiDAR Compression for Self-Driving Cars" accepted to SenSys 2026: ACM/IEEE International Conference on Embedded Artificial Intelligence and Sensing Systems. The paper introduces a system that enables faster, cheaper, and smarter data storage for autonomous vehicles.
