Space that can be reserved for 50 minutes include indoor tennis courts, racquetball courts, squash court, and boxing room.
Racquetball courts are considered multi-purpose and may be used for various recreational activities. Maximum occupancy per court is 16. Full contact activities are prohibited. Wallyball nets can only be set up on racquetball courts 4, 5, and 6.
When submitting a request, please enter the name of the activity being played in the Event Title.
Student organizations may submit requests up to 365 days in advance. However, these requests will be considered once priority groups have been scheduled: after August 1 for the fall and after December 1 for the spring.
Reservation requests must be submitted at least 4 business days in advance via RIT Events.
Recognized student organizations (club sports and performing arts groups) are allotted two hours of reserved recreation time per week. The reservation timeline is as follows:
Fall requests may be submitted beginning the 3rd Monday of July.
Spring requests may be submitted beginning the 4th Monday of November.
During peak hours, when a student organization does not have a reservation, they cannot monopolize space for more than one hour. This ensures that others have the opportunity to recreate as well.
Groups must have at least 10 participants in order to hold a reservation. If turnout is consistently low for a particular club, future reservations for the club will be canceled.
