Mary Bistrovich

Mary joined RIT in 2001 after seven years in the business sector as an editor, technical writer and trainer, software analyst, and website manager. She began her RIT career in the University Publications department as a marketing communications web content manager, project manager, and editor. After taking several years off to stay home with her children, she returned to RIT in the Information Technology Services department as an IT project management team member responsible for the development of RIT's Oracle-based Student Information/Registration System. <br><br> In her current role as program director at Osher, Mary draws from her previous work experience to oversee all aspects of the program including marketing, curriculum planning/scheduling, course catalog production, course registration, event planning, and general day-to-day operations. Her passion is process improvement &mdash; optimizing processes by identifying, analyzing, and improving upon existing practices. She has a BA from SUNY Geneseo. Outside of work Mary enjoys reading, word puzzles, Netflix, and walks. She has been in awe of the energy, knowledge, and passion of Osher members since she started working there in 2013.
Sara Connor

Sara is the program coordinator of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at RIT. She is an alumna of RIT and has enjoyed a 25-year career here. She joined Osher in 2000 as the senior staff assistant, and she has enjoyed working with the members of The Athenaeum/Osher ever since. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, music, gardening, and spending time with friends.

Julie Magnuson

Julie joined the Osher team in August 2009; she is the program assistant. She has a BA in anthropology and a certificate in museum studies from St. John Fisher, and is currently working on an MA in library & information sciences at Drexel University’s iSchool. Outside of work she enjoys choral performance, gaming, and messing around with computers.
