James F. Nack Jr.
James F. Nack Jr. is a seasoned technology executive and engineer with a distinguished career spanning both public service and the private sector. Currently a Senior Executive with the U.S. Federal Government, James is recognized for his systems-thinking approach and his ability to deliver enterprise capabilities that enable complex mission objectives. His broad experience encompasses leadership roles at headquarters and in international field assignments, providing him with a unique, global perspective on technology management, digital innovation, transformation, and organizational strategy.
James’s federal service is marked by his commitment to workforce engagement, communication, and employee development. As the Senior Program Executive for IT accessibility, he has championed initiatives that make technology more accessible across the enterprise. Before his government service, James built a robust technical foundation as a Principal Systems Engineer at General Dynamics, where he led high-visibility technical programs. His early career expertise includes end-to-end support for complex data architectures, large-scale network deployments, and global secure communications infrastructure.
James holds a Bachelor of Science from the College of Applied Sciences and Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
James’s daughter, Anna, is currently a Biomedical engineering student at RIT.
