The NTID Learning Center (NLC) is your go-to place for learning, studying, and getting the support you need to succeed at NTID. Located in Peterson Hall (50B-A121), the NLC offers a welcoming, tech-ready environment where you can focus on assignments, work with classmates, or just find a quiet place to study.

At the NLC, you’ll find PC and Mac computer workstations, group study areas, and the Multipurpose Video Lab - a creative space where you can record class projects, presentations, or personal videos. The NLC also offers convenient services like equipment loans, free printing and scanning, and access to specialized software used in your courses.

Whether you’re looking for a place to work on a project, study with friends, or do your homework, the NLC is a space designed to help you learn, create, and succeed.

The NTID Learning Center, located in 50B-A121, provides a variety of academic resources for NTID students. Participate in a transformative series of 4 online courses that delve into understanding the challenges some students face; utilizing Ally - RIT’s accessibility tool; and creating accessible documents and digital media for your courses. In this certificate, you will explore the diverse needs of the RIT student body and gain valuable insights for creating accessible materials so your students can take advantage of alternative file formats provided by Ally via myCourses. Through engaging content, practical tips, and interactive activities, this series will foster understanding, strategies, and actionable steps toward more inclusive and accessible courses.
