College of Health Sciences Seminar: Happiness, Success & the Young Adult Brain
Description
This session will provide an overview of the human nervous system with an emphasis on the “transitional age brain” (a developmental surge that occurs between 17-25 years of age). Students will be encouraged to marvel at the beauty and complexity of the neuroendocrine system, and to think about approaches and practices that will set them up for success as they pursue careers in science and biomedicine.
