One-Session Class: The Holy Land: The Palestinian/Israeli Conflict

Originally scheduled for May, this class will focus on the protracted conflict that has defied a peace agreement despite numerous attempts. A guest panel will reflect viewpoints that are not ordinarily covered in the news. Melanie A. Duguid-May is John Price Crozer Professor of Theology, Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School; Corinne Sutter-Brown, taught courses at SUNY Oswego, SUNY Geneseo and the University of Rochester and has been working on the history of Israel/Palestine and Zionism for many years; Donna Stefano has worked in the Middle East, Africa and Asia for 23 years in the field of international development, humanitarian assistance and peacebuilding. She most recently worked for Seeds of Peace as their Middle East regional director, based in Jerusalem.
