One-Session Class: The Titan II Intercontinental Ballistic Missile

The Titan II was our first ICBM capable of instantaneous launch 24-7. We will discuss it from the perspective of a former Launch Officer. This course will be paired with another single-session course The Yom Kippur War. Neither course is a prerequisite for the other.

Dick Scott served as a Titan II Launch Officer from 1972 to 1974 at the apex of the Cold War arms race. He has led many Osher courses.
