Presented by Dr. Walter Cooper, scientist, civil rights pioneer & education leader. Dr. Cooper, the first African-American to earn a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the U of R, co-founder of both the Rochester Urban League and Action for a Better Community, past president of the Rochester NAACP, and former member of the NYS Board of Regents, will be sharing his experiences and thoughts on the state of education today, especially in Rochester.
