Pfaudler Lecture: Remarkable Rochesterians: Bringing to Light Some of the Well and Not-so-well Known

Presented by Retired Rochester Democrat & Chronicle Senior Editor, Jim Memmott A six-year work in progress, the list of Remarkable Rochesterians that Jim Memmott has been compiling for the Democrat and Chronicle has now reached about 350 names. Some are well-known, some are not-so-well known, but taken together they give a sense of the area's history, as well as its changes in cultural and social attitudes. In his talk, Jim will discuss what the list tells us about Rochester and what it takes to survive, thrive or even fail in this city.
