Our two speakers are from RIT's School of American Crafts. Associate Professor, Robin Cass, has a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from Alfred University. She is well known in her field and lectures across the country. Her topic is: Why Glass? Thoughts on a Phenomenal Material. The second speaker is Juan Carlos Caballero-Perez. He is originally from Mexico City. He received both his BFA and MFA from RIT, where he is an Associate Professor. He works in metal and fabricates unusual jewelry.
