MOSAIC Center

MOSAIC is an intentional community space in the SAU for students to feel connected to the RIT community and/or different subgroups and cultures on campus.

The staff and student workers who manage the space create fun and educational opportunities that facilitate community, a sense of belonging and appreciation for healthy intergroup relations.

First Fridays

First Fridays is an opportunity for students, staff and faculty to stop by to participate in community building activities. The staff in MOSAIC recognize the whole person and university’s commitment to well-being. They look to supplement the academic and work experiences of our community members. Join the staff and student workers the first Friday of each month.

Be Our Guest

The MOSAIC space is a hub offering a dynamic space for grabbing snacks, socializing, studying, club meetings, and educational programming. While all students are welcome, ALANA (African, Latine/x, Asian, Native American and multiracial) students are encouraged to make use of this space for their well-being. MOSAIC also encourages intergroup dialogue.

MOSAIC can be reserved by all RIT committees, departments, clubs and organizations through the EMS portal. Individuals are unable to reserve the space for themselves. All requests should be made through EMS.
