    Reginald Rogers, an assistant professor of chemical engineering, received the Henry C. McBay Outstanding Teacher Award from the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers.

    For the fourth year in a row, RIT received a Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award from INSIGHT into Diversity magazine. RIT is also being honored as an institution committed to diversity for 2017 by Minority Access, Incorporated.

    RIT welcomes largest-ever class of Rochester City Scholars

    RIT will welcome the eighth class of Destler/Johnson Rochester City Scholars at a ceremony on Monday. Since the program was established in 2010, more than 150 students from the district have attended RIT and received full scholarships toward their degree programs.

    Marvin “Tim” Albert has been named director of NTID’s Student Life Team and will supervise and oversee co-curricular events including clubs and Greek life for RIT/NTID’s 1,200 deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
