Overview

The Center for Computational Relativity and Gravitation (CCRG) is one of RIT’s Signature Interdisciplinary Research Areas (SIRA) and a designated Center of Excellence under the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Provost.

Founded in 2007 within RIT’s College of Science, the CCRG continues to serve as a core research center for the college.

The center operates state-of-the-art laboratories dedicated to high-performance computation and visualization. The CCRG manages numerous externally funded projects and collaborations, supported by a diverse portfolio of external grants, endowed funding, SIRA funding, and F&A returns.
