Accreditation

Why an accredited institution?

Prestigious accreditations broadcast to other schools, future employers, and the general public that the Saunders’ business degree programs have passed a rigorous review. In addition to sharing this information with others, these accreditations underscore the school’s commitment to provide students with a superior education.

Prospective students evaluating Executive MBA programs should carefully consider an institution’s accreditation before enrolling. Accreditation is a voluntary process that includes an external review of a school’s ability to provide quality programs. Accreditation reviews include self-evaluations, peer reviews, committee reviews, and the development of in-depth strategic plans. It also includes reviews of a school’s mission, faculty qualifications, and curricula. Simply put, accreditation can assure prospective students that they are going to receive a top-quality, recognized degree. RIT proudly displays national and international accreditations that recognize and confirm its commitment to excellence in education.

AACSB Accreditation

AACSB Accreditation

Saunders College of Business undergraduate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), the premier accrediting organization for business schools. Only a small percentage of the institutions granting business degrees receive this accreditation.

Saunders College of Business is recognized as "...undoubtedly one of the nation's leaders in bringing total quality principles to the university." These principles emphasize customer satisfaction, work productivity through teaming, and product and service excellence.
