Why did you choose the Executive MBA program?
RIT set itself apart from the beginning. After meeting several professors and talking with alumni, the RIT culture and history of academic excellence stood out to me when compared to other programs. I knew that I needed to take my education seriously in order to enhance my overall business acumen to a level where I could succeed in a higher-level management position. Based on my career goals and understanding of the program, I knew that the Executive MBA program at RIT was the best possible investment for my future.
How has your education helped your career?
I am now better able to think strategically on a holistic level when it comes to business decision making, knowing the right questions to ask in order to obtain the best possible outcomes and solutions. Within one year of graduating from the program, I was promoted into a higher-level management position within my company.
What is your best piece of advice?
This program will challenge you in ways you never thought possible. In order to be successful, you have to be incredibly driven and committed to achieving your end goal. If you put in the time and effort, you will accomplish extraordinary things. This program is designed to create business professionals that are of the highest pedigree. This designation does not come easy, so if you have the right mindset, support system, and desire to set yourself apart from your peers, then this program is for you.
If you had to do it all over again, would you?
Absolutely. The Executive MBA program was a right of passage in my business career. It showed me what I am truly capable of in the classroom, at my job, and in life. My knowledge and confidence grew immensely as a result of this program and I made lifelong friends along the way. Knowing where I was prior to earning my degree compared to where I am today, I would 100% do it all over again.
