Mandate from Policy B2.0
The ICC shall call upon the Senate to initiate college elections to fill positions on subcommittees it may form to oversee general education and university writing. The college representation on the Honors Curriculum Committee shall be either appointed or elected by the voting faculty of the college according to college policy.
The membership of the sub-committee for the Honors Program Curriculum (HCC) shall include the following: one faculty member from each college, one representative from the academic deans or designee; the provost or designee; the director of the Honors Program. The chair of ICC, or designee, shall serve as an ex-officio non-voting member on each of the ICC subcommittees.
Charges for AY2022
1. Provide support and advice to the Director of the Honors Program in the ongoing design and execution of the Honors Program.
2. Collect and report data on diversity in the Honors Program, and provide advice to the director regarding ways to promote diversity. Report to Senate with recommendations as appropriate.
