Wuertz-Kozak named Deputy Editor at 'European Spine Journal'

Karin Wuertz-Kozak, Kate Gleason and Harvey J. Palmer Endowed Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, was named one of five new deputy editors of the European Spine Journal, starting in January 2026. As one of the oldest journals in spine science, innovation, and patient care, the journal highlights multidisciplinary content from cutting-edge research and clinical science to academic, community, and industry initiatives. Wuertz-Kozak will join colleagues from Germany, China, Italy, South Africa, and the UK as a representative expert in biological sciences.
