The year 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock music festival, held at Yasgur farm in Bethel, N.Y. MAGIC Spell Studios Director David Long and Associate Professor Ricky Figueroa in the School of Film and Animation are guiding a team of motion picture science students in the creation of a special video exhibition to be built in celebration at the Museum at Bethel Woods.

The exhibit features custom video kiosks and a series of eight videos that showcase the hopes, fears, and expectations of the original Woodstock generation and today’s youth. The MAGIC team is further designing a social media experience to help all visitors to the special 50th anniversary collection to connect and share their reflections on this seminal event in American culture.

The exhibit is slated to open in early April 2019.
