Service Student Organizations
Service Student Organizations provide significant services to the RIT student community. Students can engage with these organizations by attending their events and activities, utilizing the services they provide, or by seeking a student leadership position.
Programs and Services
Whether you are a current student, former student, faculty or staff member, or a member of the community – the Q Center is committed to bringing you into a campus community that is safe and equitable. The Q Center brings the LGBTQ+ community together through events and gatherings in our dedicated space, and we function as a resource center for the entire RIT community.
Women and Gender
Women and Gender services are available to all students regardless of gender. The Women and Gender team provides educational programming about relevant issues impacting women and gender minorities, both in the RIT community and the global society, and provides direct service to RIT students.
Spirituality and Religious Life
Spirituality and Religious Life at RIT cultivates engaged and vibrant religious, secular, and spirituality communities on campus that explore deep questions of purpose, meaning, and value. Through our diverse communities of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Muslim, Paganism, and Secularism, RIT celebrates all forms of spiritual belonging.

Off-Campus and Commuter Services
The off-campus and commuter community is large and vibrant. Through Off-Campus and Commuter Services, you will have the opportunity to meet other commuter students and engage in events that help you get connected to important resources available to you at RIT. Tech Crew is a professional production service organization that provides our campus with sound reinforcement, lighting design, power distribution, staging and rigging for major campus events. Tech Crew hires over 60 student employees that are part of making the magic happen behind the scenes.
The Center for Campus Life hosts local and RIT affiliated vendors throughout the academic year in addition to annual Vending Sales each semester. Vending at RIT is a great opportunity to sell products and services to potentially thousands of students, faculty and staff members. Vendors are permitted to sell either inside the lobby or outside of the Student Alumni Union.
The Center for Campus Life is here to assist and support student club and organization leaders in hosting safe and successful student events. Events and programming support and enhance RIT’s mission and goals by expanding student engagement, increasing RIT spirit, and fostering a sense of campus community.
