Industry 4.0

Manufacturing challenges are bigger

than ever before.

So is the opportunity.

Manufacturers today face steep customer expectations, thinning margins, lack of qualified workforce, and unreliable supply chains – all at once. Fortunately, we live in the digital era. Our times enable integration of unprecedented information into industrial manufacturing processes. This means faster and better decision making capabilities. What used to depend on guesstimates and take us months can now be driven by data and happen within hours.

Welcome to Industry 4.0

RIT’s Industry 4.0 Transition Assistance Program is designed to prepare SMEs in New York State for the fourth industrial revolution. Our experienced engineers look at the opportunities presented by Industry 4.0 in the context of company’s strategic objectives and desired benefits. This helps us translate the buzzwords like Robotics, Internet of Things, Big Data, and Machine Learning into tangible bottom-line improvements.

Funding Available to Work With Us

Significant funding assistance is available to cover the cost for us to work with you on your advanced manufacturing project.

Funding for RIT’s Industry 4.0 program is provided by the New York State Department of Economic Development.

RIT’s Industry 4.0 program has also been awarded $1.1 million by the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). This program funding is designed to help SMMs use Industry 4.0 (I4.0) technologies to recover from the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. If you are a manufacturer in the Finger Lakes or Central New York regions, this program could help you accelerate your digital transformation.
