Origins

Origins draws on the molcajete, a vessel carved from volcanic stone and used in Mexican cooking. Slightly opaque black glass recalls the original material, while side handles make the bowl easier to carry and pass around the table. The design connects the Vignellis’ approach to form and function with the place of shared meals in Mexican family life.
