Soul

The design on my vase is based on fundamental Vignelli principals: pragmatism and intellectual elegance. I translated these 2 principles into functionality and beauty. Anything we design should be functional based on its intended use. Flowers took center stage during the design process and all decisions were “flower-centric”. Beauty followed functions and improved the aesthetics.

The glass cylinder has soft curves to provide the space to gently accommodate the stems of the flowers so that they will naturally adjust inside the vase. An interchangeable colorful partition was created to be suspended in the middle of the vase to provide on the one hand structure to the composition and on the other to offer options to arrange the flowers with creativity according to the type and color of the flowers.
