The Gather Bowl places a story at the center of a shared meal. An enclosed space within the serving vessel holds an ingredient or another object connected to the food being served. This central display invites diners to ask about the meal and the ideas behind it. The design draws on the Vignellis’ belief that every element should serve a purpose.
