RIT Global

Costs

Please make an appointment with a study abroad advisor for a complete budget worksheet. Students studying abroad at the Weihai campus will pay RIT tuition during Fall and Spring. Tuition for summer/winter break programs (if available) may vary. Estimated out-of-pocket expenses for airfare, meals, housing, personal spending and books will be listed on the budget worksheet provided by a study abroad advisor.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Your RIT and federal financial aid is likely to apply to this program as long as you maintain full time student status (12 credit hours) while studying abroad in Weihai. If you are maintaining half time status while abroad (6 credit hours), you may be eligible to use your federal financial aid.

Once you receive a budget worksheet for studying abroad in Weihai, you must make an appointment with your financial aid advisor to go over the costs and how your financial aid will be applied.

If you are interested in receiving scholarships towards your study abroad program, visit fellowships.rit.edu or ask your study abroad advisor about recommended scholarships to apply for.
