Frequently Asked Questions

Great news! It’s best to start by reviewing the purpose and overview of the visit with the RIT Global Office and RIT International Student Services (ISS). They will collectively advise on the most appropriate structure and visa compliance for the visitor and RIT campus activity. Reach out to Lyndsey McGrath and Megan Kless to start a discussion at least 3-4 months before the visit is planned but the earlier the better! You can also find more information online about RIT’s Visiting Scholar Policy and the International Visiting Research Student program.

For more information about how to become involved in RIT’s internationalization, contact: James Myers, Associate Provost for International Education and Global Programs.
