RIT Global

At our Rochester, NY campus, student-centeredness is one of our core values. We are concerned about students’ well-being, not only in the classroom but outside of class. There are many support services for students coming from other countries.

Faculty and staff work together to coordinate your application and transition to RIT.  To apply to our internationally recognized degree programs, click on Admissions, or you may apply to our intensive English Language Center.

Upon acceptance you will be connected to professional staff and advisors, many of whom have lived and worked in other countries. For example, International Student Services provides primary support for questions you might have about immigration, cultural adaption, academic and personal matters.  Also, the Center for Religious Life offers prayer space and chaplains for the world’s major faiths.

This beautiful campus – located just a few miles southwest of Rochester, NY, is home to a diverse population, with more than 2,500 international students from 103 countries.  That’s over 10% of RIT's total student population.  Internationally minded students from all academic disciplines connect within active organizations such as Global Union and through a number of cultural student clubs. Students can also stay informed about the latest and greatest happenings at RIT through the Campus Groups page.
