Wallace Biodiversity Grant

In order to encourage undergraduates to follow in the footsteps of this great explorer and naturalist, Operation Wallacea is offering Alfred Russel Wallace Grants.


Must be booked on an Operation Wallacea project.

Wenner-Gren Post PhD Research Grants
Post-Ph.D. Research Grants are awarded to individuals holding a Ph.D. or equivalent degree to support individual research projects. The program contributes to the Foundation's overall mission to support basic research in anthropology and to ensure that the discipline continues to be a source of vibrant and significant work that furthers our understanding of humanity's cultural and biological origins, development, and variation.
Award Amount: $20,000

Whitaker International Fellows Program
This program sends young Biomedical Engineers anywhere outside the US or Canada for one academic year to do research, coursework, or an internship related to biomedical engineering. Demonstrated language ability for the proposed country of study and a nomination letter from the Biomedical Engineering Department are required.
Earned Bachelor's degree by start of program; Be in or recently completed a Master's program; Cannot have lived in country of application for more than 6 months; cannot hold a doctoral degree
Award Amount: Tuition reimbursement (up to $35,000), plus round-trip international airfare, monthly living stipend, health insurance, and various enrichment activities and funds.
