Kate Gleason College of Engineering Departmental Academy Award Nomination Form

The Departmental Academy Award recognizes individuals who personify the mission of the Kate Gleason College of Engineering as real-world problem solvers. Outstanding department alumni and industry partners are chosen annually to represent each of the seven departments housed under the college. Through outstanding achievements and civic, cultural, and charitable contributions, these individuals bring honor to the Kate Gleason College of Engineering, their respective department, RIT, and the over 16,000 alumni the college represents. Ideal candidates have made a significant impact on their field and/or contributed to the success of their respective department over the course of the last calendar year.

All nominations must be submitted via this official nomination form. The deadline to submit is Friday, December 10, 2021. Incomplete nominations will not be considered by the awards committee. Nominees not selected will remain in the selection pool for one additional year. After this time, their nomination will have to be updated and resubmitted by anyone still wishing to nominate this person for this award.

The award presentation will be made at the Kate Gleason College of Engineering awards ceremony held at the conclusion of our annual Engineer’s Week program on Thursday, February 10, 2022.
