Russ Schwartzbeck '97 is the founder of Schwartzbeck Financial Group, where he has enjoyed helping clients solve complex financial problems for more than two decades. He partners with individuals, families, and businesses who have wealth protection, growth, and transfer needs.
Russ designs highly-customized solutions to help each client reach their goals. Russ' mission is to learn each client's vision for the future, create innovative strategies targeted at their specific goals, and then guide them through the implementation process to help them achieve their objectives.
In addition to his work with The Schwartzbeck Financial Group, Russ has also enjoyed a successful career on the corporate side of Northwestern Mutual. He started with the company as an intern in 1996 while he was still attending RIT. He graduated a year later with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance, and continued on at Northwestern Mutual, holding many positions including College Unit Director, Field Director, and Financial Advisor. In 2007, he accelerated his career further and became a Wealth Management Advisor with Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company. Then in 2009, he was appointed to Managing Director of the Rochester Northwestern Mutual office, a position that he still holds concurrently with his personal practice.
