Global Cybersecurity Institute Showcase
All alumni, family and friends are invited to an exclusive showcase of RIT’s Global Cybersecurity Institute on November 12. The program will include a first look at the new building, updates from the Dean of the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, and an interactive panel discussion with faculty and students.

Support RIT Foodshare
Throughout the country, food insecurity at many universities is a major concern that has been made worse by the pandemic. A recent study shows that up to half the nation’s college students have faced some level of food insecurity and often go without meals.
This is why RIT has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support RIT’s FoodShare program and to end food insecurity at RIT.

Tiger Heritage Spotlight
Naomi Lee Ph.D., BS ’05 (Seneca Nation of Indians) is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Northern Arizona University. Her research focuses on novel peptide and protein-based vaccine development to target various infectious and chronic diseases.
Dr. Lee also applies her expertise in biomedical research to improve the health care of Native Americans through health disparities research, STEM education, and mentoring.

Gerard Kiernan ’83 (KGCOE), Facilities Engineer & Sustainability Coordinator for the city of Springfield in Massachusetts, secured solar credits for the city that will reduce the city’s carbon footprint.
Sophie Schillaci ’10 (CLA) and Mike Boya ’11 (GCCIS) welcomed their second child, Colton Dean Boya, in March 2020 in Los Angeles.
