Music Performance Theater

The Music Performance Theater is a state-of-the art venue serving both the RIT and Rochester communities. Located on the north side of campus between Institute Hall and the Golisano Institute for Sustainability, this 50,000-square-foot, three-story facility features 750 seats, two balconies, truck access, and a historic, restored theater pipe organ. With its versatile design, the theater is ideal for musical and theatrical performances, lectures, and special events, offering an exceptional experience for performers and audiences alike.

Built in 1927 and being restored to be the focal point of the Theater.

L-Acoustics Sound System

The Theater is equipped with 75 speakers that weaves an invisible and immersive soundscape for patrons.

Outdoor Amphitheater
