Located in Penfield, N.Y., the Tait Preserve is RIT’s premier destination for special events, academic research and agricultural production. Featuring the stunning Leenhouts Lodge and a beautiful landscape of hills, forests and water, the Tait Preserve provides unique opportunities for the RIT Community to engage with the natural world.

Leenhouts Lodge

Host your department retreat, conference, workshop, or strategic planning session here and enjoy the beauty of the spacious timber frame building and serene natural setting.

4,500 square foot facility can host up to 100 people, with abundant parking
Multiple configurations to accommodate various types of meetings, meals, and events
Audio Visual equipment is available on-site for various media and presentation needs.
The venue is available for staff and faculty meetings related to RIT operations.
