Marty LawlorProgram Director, Executive Education, Senior Lecturer
Marty Lawlor is currently Senior Lecturer of Marketing and Management, and Director of Executive Education at Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology. He has held senior management positions in corporate strategy, competitive intelligence, information research, and business development with leading telecommunications and wireless Internet firms including Nortel Networks and InfoSpace, Inc.
Earlier, he spent more than a decade in entrepreneurial ventures, including starting up and managing a retail bookstore, and founding FYI, an early information brokerage firm. Marty has focused extensively on market and technology topics, and has conducted numerous analysis projects with a focus on actionable analysis to enable more effective decision-making. His work ranges from market assessments, competitive profiles, and business cases, to vision papers, and strategic plan recommendations. He is a member of the American Marketing Association, a board member of the International Resource Group, and was a founding member of the Innovation Roundtable hosted by Idea Connections. Current and recent projects include a market opportunity assessment for the Rochester Tooling and Machining Association, and a strategic analysis of business center survey and focus group data for the United States State Department. He has also conducted multiple strategic plan analyses under a New York State Department of Labor grant administered by the Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies at Rochester Institute of Technology. A recent entrepreneurial venture is a pilot launch of a searchable web-based database of topical news-related media for business school faculty. Marty received his B.A. in Spanish from the University of Buffalo, and holds an M.L.S. from SUNY at Geneseo and an M.B.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Jeff DavisAssociate Director, Customized Programs, Executive Education, Adjunct Professor
Jeff joined the Executive MBA program at the Saunders College of Business in October 2011. He has a variety of experiences to include 12+ years in the United States Air Force, 8 years in financial services, and 8 years in the New York Air National Guard. Between the Air Force and Financial Services, Jeff has strong experience in recruiting. He also previously worked with the Air Force ROTC at Boston University. Jeff is an Adjunct Professor at Medaille College and RIT, teaching Economics, Business Simulation, International Business and Executive Leadership.
Some of the places Jeff has worked or lived include the Republic of South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, China, Guam, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Jeff met his wife Maura while living in Boston and they have two children, Conor and Erin. The Davis family resides in Penfield.
Jeff earned his bachelor's degree from Medaille College and his MBA as a member of Class 17 of RIT's Executive MBA Program in 2010.

Betsy Hill began her career at RIT in June of 2015 as the Sr. Staff Assistant for Executive MBA Programs. She joined the EMBA team as the online and on campus EMBA departments merged into one. Betsy manages the individual cohorts of both the online and on campus students from their initial acceptance through graduation. Betsy also coordinates and establishes relationships with internal offices as the department offers a “hands-on” approach to student support.
As part of the EMBA support staff, Betsy handles budget reports, procard statements, faculty contracts, course materials, classroom scheduling and other program logistics. She also works collaboratively with the EMBA team to create successful orientation and graduation events.
Prior to coming to RIT, Betsy supported her husband’s career as a United States Marine which afforded her the opportunity to stay home with their 2 children (now ages 11 and 14). Betsy earned a BS in Plant Science from Cornell University and an MS in Higher Education from Drexel University.

As the Assistant Director for Marketing for the Executive MBA Program, Kristen is responsible for the marketing strategy and implementation for the Executive Education programs at Saunders College of Business.
Prior to joining the Executive Education staff, Kristen worked with the Marketing and Communications Department within Saunders College of Business, and before that, at several marketing and communications agencies while living in New York City.
Kristen has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Interaction Design from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in Communications and Public Relations, also from Syracuse University.

Amanda is the Admissions Officer for Executive MBA Programs. In her role, she handles the admissions for both online and on campus EMBA applicants; ensuring that the program is a good fit for the prospective student and working with applicants throughout the application process.
Amanda has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science which she earned at Brunel University in London, England. With a corporate background in sales and recruitment, Amanda enjoys taking an entrepreneurial approach to identify highly qualified, motivated, results-driven students for the Executive MBA Program. She enjoys being part of a dynamic team and building lasting relationships with the students before, during and after they complete the program.
