KGCOE National Council - Peter Arthur

Pete has spent his entire career in the nuclear power industry. He worked for an engineering design firm immediately following graduation, two different utilities, and most recently, he spent the last years of his career providing independent performance assessments of the nuclear power industry, both domestically and internationally.  During his career, Pete has held numerous managerial positions within the utilities and obtained his U.S.N.R.C. Senior Reactor Operators license allowing him to operate a nuclear reactor. Pete has been recognized as an industry expert with his ability to improve maintenance and work management performance issues at nuclear facilities.

In addition to earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering from RIT, Pete’s academic credentials also include a Master of Business Administration from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio.

Pete resides in Mentor, Ohio with his wife Sally.  They have three married daughters and four grandchildren.
