Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering faculty members lead one-week IC Processing short course
Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering faculty members Stephanie Bolster, lecturer; Karl Hirschman, associate department head; Michael A. Jackson, associate professor; Ivan Puchades, associate professor; Eli Powell, visiting professor; Stefan Preble, Bausch and Lomb Professor and microsystems Ph.D. program director; and Santosh Kurinec, professor, delivered the Microelectronic Engineering Program's IC Processing short course, June 1-5. As a part of the course, five community college students engaged in an NSF EMERGE microgrant run by Parsian Mohseni, associate professor. This short course provides hands-on workforce training for the semiconductor industry.
