Sun granted award
Xiangcheng Sun, assistant professor of chemical engineering, has been granted an award from the American Chemical Society for a project titled, “Single-molecule catalysis on Heck reactions at palladium particles.” The $110,000 grant will fund the study, which will give insights into the nature of active species, reaction pathways of Pd heterogeneous catalysts for Heck reactions, and further development of catalysts.
