Lacrosse Shot Smart Training Wall

Side-by-side photos of RIT students and activities with the text See How RIT is Advancing the Exceptional underneath.

The Lacrosse Shot Training Smart Wall is a training assistant to lacrosse players that allows that player to pass the ball and have the ball returned to them as a way to practice passing, receiving, and ball handling. The product gives feedback on shot-to-target differences to help the user train to become more accurate with more use. The goal of this project was to analyze similarly designed return walls and sensing technology to identify opportunities to make a larger wall that is portable, lightweight, durable, and provides feedback to the user.
