Portable Classroom Charger

Side-by-side photos of RIT students and activities with the text See How RIT is Advancing the Exceptional underneath.

The modern classroom environment has typically integrated the use of electronic devices for note-taking, classroom work, and communication. However, these classrooms are not physically suited for this technological pedagogy. Most classrooms today were not built with these electronic devices in mind and therefore lack sufficient outlets leaving extension cords and power strips laying on the ground causing a potential tripping hazard. Our solution will allow students to check out portable chargers that they can bring to their work areas to use to charge their devices such as (laptops, tablets, cell phones).
