The Seno-Device to Facilitate Manual Expression of Breastmilk

Side-by-side photos of RIT students and activities with the text See How RIT is Advancing the Exceptional underneath.

Breast milk is the best source of nutrition for an infant, but providing it is time consuming, uncomfortable and exhausting for the mother. Mothers often rely on electric breast pumps which are bulky, inconvenient and awkward. Our team is working on a new rechargeable device that uses suction and massaging to help stimulate the let-down reflex. The device will be portable and easy to use allowing a mother to manually express whenever they want. Stop by to learn more about our device!
