Our group was tasked with redesigning an umbilical cord clamp for our client, Divergent Medical Technologies. In this exhibit, we will take you through the various stages of the redesign from brainstorming, on to subsystem development and prototyping, then finally to a final product ready for delivery to the client. We will also discuss challenges we encountered throughout the project as well as solutions we developed to these issues and how we grew as engineers throughout MSD.
