Team publishes paper on antibiotic-producing bacteria
Marissa Schroeter, a fourth-year double major in biotechnology and molecular bioscience and biomedical sciences, published a paper about antibiotic-producing bacteria. Co-authors are Safiya Gazali, RIT-McNair Scholar; postdoctoral researchers Anutthaman Parthasarathy and Renata Rezende Miranda; Crista Wadsworth, assistant professor in the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences; André Hudson, head of the Gosnell School of Life Sciences; and Bolaji Thomas, professor of biomedical sciences.
