Automated Ramjet Inlet Evaluation Software [ARIES]

Location

James E. Gleason Hall (GLE/009) - Erdle Commons

Our Senior Design team developed a MATLAB tool that designs and evaluates supersonic ramjet air intakes operating from Mach 2–5. The tool generates Busemann streamline-traced inlets, outputs performance metrics, and creates geometry files for CFD analysis and modeling purposes. Enabling efficient, low-drag, high-pressure-recovery inlet designs based on user requirements.
